I have been thinking over blogging for a while now and cannot help but ask why people blog? Is it the desire to be heard or the need to express or in the light of the growing online marketplace plain simple monetization of customized content.

I blog because:
1) I want to express myself
2) It organizes my own thoughts and things of interest
3) I like people to read what i write
4) I want to influence people with my thoughts
5) It keeps my writing skills in shape.
I blog for all the three reasons spelt out by you.
