So a girl marries against her parents' wishes and is pregnant. Why can we just not get over ourselves sometimes and accept the way people choose to live their lives. Why do we have to make it a point to make other's lives miserable...most of all whatever made people think they can play God.

I agree. We must accept the way our near and dear ones choose to live their lives. But the situation depicted by you speaks of a communication gap which needs to be filled.
There shouldnt be an issue if the girl is Married, and rest its a hard rule that everybody has to make a commercial issue out of everything...
